Yossi Galanti was born 1965 in Jerusalem. His artistic education includes photography studies at The Hadassah College of Technology in Jerusalem, The Open University, (Every man's University), Israel, various courses in art history & contemporary art at the University of Liverpool, and an MA degree. His thesis was dedicated to post war landscape photography, and Landscape as it appeared in photographs after the Six-day war in major Israeli magazines. His works are regularly shown at video screenings in International film festivals and digital art biennales in Europe and the US. In his work, Galanti depicts landscapes, nature, as well as nature in the city, to create surprising and colorful combinations and juxtapositions, questioning our relation to land and cityscapes. He lives and works in Jerusalem.
