Pia von Reis was Born 1991 in Munich, she lives and works in Altenhain, Germany. Pia has graduated from the Free Arts faculty at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar, Germany in 2017. Since then, she has been self-employed as a Freelance Artist and had several solo and group shows in Germany. Her work consists of drawings, paintings, and sculptures. Pia’s work portrays filigree or floating objects, yet offers a warm bodily proximity, as she depicts body gestures, silhouettes, and suggested movement. Her lines are decisive, and her perception of the canvas or the paper persuades with its precise composition and choice of color. Her work surrounds the themes of circle psychology, body-mind connection, mythology and archaeology.
