Martin Fink MUNROI was Born 1983 in Bitterfeld (former GDR), he lives and works in Erfurt, Germany. He studied Art and achieved his Master degree from the "Public Art and New artistic Strategies'' program of the Bauhaus-University in Weimar, Germany. He has lived in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, Brazil, places which have not only influenced but shaped his work into a Gesamtkunstwerk. In 2016 he received a scholarship from the state chancellery of the free state of Thuringia, Germany. The art of MUNROI was born in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in 1989 and deals with urban spaces & its Backlands. MUNROI is a city, a person, a projection, a concept, an archeological site and a Utopian Sci-Fi Series all in one. It was exhibited in many different forms in art spaces and non-spaces in Germany and Argentina.
