Mindaugas Buivydas (1972, Vilnius) is a Lithuanian photographer. He started his career as a self-taught photographer in 2006. The core of his work is Mystery, silence, transition, meditation, change and Nature. Nature plays a crucial role in his artistic research as does the related morning mists, night mystery, sough of trees in the woods, melodies of the river stream, sounds of the sea, colors of the fall, thrill of the upcoming winter, midwinter frosts, spring awakening, and summer haze. Mindaugas has received awards for his art in national and international competitions and has participated in several international photography and documentary projects. Mindaugas lives and works in Lithuania.
